Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.

Medical and Dental Benefits

All Intel Taiwan employees receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care benefits both at home and while traveling. In addition to the statutory provision, Intel Taiwan provides additional hospitalization, medical reimbursement insurance and cancer insurance coverage, and an annual medical check up. Supplementary coverage is also extended to qualified dependents on a premium shared basis, except for annual medical check-up.

Life and Accident Insurance

At no cost to the employee, all full-time Intel Taiwan employees are provided with life and accident insurance to provide for their family's economic well-being at the time of their natural or accidental death. Supplemental coverage of business travel insurance is provided for accidental death that may occur while an employee is on business travel. In the event of permanent disability, the coverage is dependent on the type of disability.

Paid Time Off

Vacation Time
Intel Taiwan employees are entitled to 12 days vacation upon hiring. This amount increases over years of employment to a maximum of 30 days per year.
Holidays
Intel provides a total of 18 days of public holidays subject to government declaration every year.
Paid Employee Leave
Intel Taiwan provides a variety of paid employee leave programs to promote work/life balance. Examples include sick and hospitalization leave; bereavement leave, in the event of a family death; maternity, paternity, parental, and family leaves; and marriage.

Other Benefits

In addition to a monthly meal allowance, Intel Taiwan provides cash gifts or donations to commemorate a variety of circumstances including the wedding of an employee; the birth of a new child; and the funeral of an immediate family member. Immediate family members are defined as a spouse, parent, grandparent, or child.

Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to 10 percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
