The primary responsibilities for Intel's sales and marketing team in Sweden include:

- Driving the market to recognize Intel's role in the Internet at the OEM, developer and end-user levels
Wireless Competency Centre In addition to Intel's sales and marketing office in Stockholm, Intel Sweden also includes the Wireless Competence Centre, which began operation in Sweden in 1999. The Wireless Competence Centre works to strengthen Intel's position in the wireless market by developing collaborations and technology concepts with industry leaders. It acts as a regional competence center that foresees, visualizes and influences the future of mobile technologies. The center was established in December 1999 and is part of a global network with centers in Tsukuba, Japan and Beijing, China. The office also focuses on working with local PC manufacturers, Intel distribution partners and the software industry.
Software Lab Intel® Personal Internet Client Architecture (Intel PCA) Software Optimizations Lab is also located in Stockholm. Integrated into the Wireless Competence Centre, the lab helps application developers maximize the performance of software for mobile phones and PDAs based on the Intel® XScale™ technology. The lab strengthens Intel's relationship with European wireless application developers by providing them with technical tools, development support and engineering resources.
