Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.

Life and Accident Insurance

Business Traveler Accident Insurance
In addition to basic life insurance and basic accidental death insurance, Intel Sweden provides business traveler accident coverage for all employees. The coverage commences when employees leave their residence or place of regular employment for an Intel trip and continues until they return to their residence or place of regular employment, whichever occurs first. Business traveler accident coverage equals five times an employees' annual salary, rounded to the next higher $1,000 and subject to a up to $1,000,000 (U.S.) maximum.
Business Traveler Medical Plan
Intel Sweden provides medical coverage to full- and part-time employees at no cost for occasions when they are traveling on business outside of Sweden (up to a maximum of 90 days). Coverage includes medically necessary accident and sickness expenses occurring during business travel. Full plan details and expenses are available upon joining Intel and verification of travel.

Paid Time Off

Vacation Time
All Intel Sweden employees are entitled to an annual leave of up to 30 days a year depending on the length of service.
Extended Leave Program
Employees may choose to save three to seven days of vacation per year for a period of five years, or until they have been part of the program for five years. The employee then has a two-year timeframe in which to use this extended leave time.

Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to 10 percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
