Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.

Medical Benefits

Eligible Intel Malaysia employees receive comprehensive medical benefits both at home and while traveling. Optional dental and vision correction coverage is available on a subsidized basis; and supplemental coverage, which includes dependents, is available on a shared-premium basis.

Retirement

Retirement Fund
In addition to contributions to the government-mandated Employee Provident Fund program, Intel contributes two percent of an employee's monthly earnings to a retirement account. Upon retirement, funds accumulated throughout the employee's service with Intel are made available based on a vesting schedule. Vesting is based on an employee's completed years of service. If an employee resigns from the company before attaining retirement age, but has worked for at least five years, he or she is offered a vested sum.
Pension Plan
Intel Malaysia participates in the government's pension program. Intel contributes an additional two percent to the prevailing statutory rate of 12 percent.
Retirement Gift
As a token of appreciation to long-time employees, Intel offers a retirement gift to eligible employees based on length of service.

Life and Accident Insurance

All Intel Malaysia employees are provided with life insurance coverage to assist with the family's economic well-being at the time of the employee's natural or accidental death. Supplemental coverage is provided for accidental death that may occur while on business travel. Accidental dismemberment coverage is also provided.

Vacation Time
All Intel Malaysia employees are entitled to annual vacation time ranging from 10 to 20 days a year depending on their length of service.
Holidays
