Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.
In order to assure that employees have cost-effective and flexible choices when selecting quality care, Intel Israel offers supplementary medical and dental insurance to employees and their eligible family members (spouses and children up to the age of 24). Intel funds the cost of employee and dependent health care coverage; the employee is responsible for the tax obligation.
Intel Israel provides one of the leading pension programs available today. The program covers employees in the case of retirement, premature death and work disability. The program offers flexibility, low commissions and low life insurance costs, in order to increase employee savings.
Holidays
Depending on job, shift, and schedule, Intel Israel employees may be entitled to up to 13 paid public holidays per year.
Vacation Time
Depending on length of service, Intel Israel employees receive 12 to 23 days vacation days per year.
Extended Vacation Program
Once every seven years, eligible Intel Israel employees may take up to 23 days of vacation in addition to their annual vacation.
Other Leaves
Intel Israel provides a variety of paid leaves. Examples include sick leave; maternity leave; paternity leave; marriage leave; bereavement leave; etc.
Childcare
Intel Israel partners with its communities to support daycare facilities at many sites. These facilities are available to employees' children during work hours.
Summer/Holiday Camps
To provide childcare solutions for Intel Israel employees and fun for their children, Intel partially subsidizes camps during holidays and school vacations.
Meal Subsidy
Intel Israel offers subsidized meals to employees during work hours. Employees are responsible for the tax obligation.
Low-Interest Loans
Intel Israel offers a low-interest loan program to eligible employees. Employees may receive a loan up to nine times their annual salary.
Preferred Car Lease Program
Intel Israel offers eligible employees preferred car lease rates through payroll deductions.
Study Fund
Intel Israel offers eligible employees the opportunity to participate in a savings program to which Intel and the employee contribute. The allocation is tax free up to a certain salary amount fixed by legislation. After three years of membership, employees can withdraw the accrued funds for study in Israel or abroad; after six years, employees may use the accrued funds for any purpose.
Quality of Life Personal Budget
Each eligible Intel Israel employee receives a personal budget of 1000 NIS annually to use for Quality of Life activities (i.e. leisure, culture, shows, etc.) throughout the year. The employee is responsible for the tax obligation.
