 The Process
The process Making an impression Preparing for an interview

The process
Now that you have decided to pursue an opportunity at Intel, here's what you can expect:

Application and selection

Intel takes part in many student career fairs and conferences each year.
  • Milk round presentations — Each year on college campus Intel presents to the technician student population. The event is marketed and organised through the college careers officers. The presentation is usually one and a half hours long with senior technical managers sharing information on our technology and college staffing discussing the T-comp on offer.

The normal focus is on electronics, physics, finance classes of about 40 graduating students with a questions and answer session after each presentation.

  • Careers fairs — Attend careers fairs on campus 1-2 a year, along with other participating companies. Colleges run fairs are both for interns and graduates. Staffing and technical employees attend the fair and discuss with graduating students the opportunities available.

  • C.V. prep & Interview skills workshop — College staffing teaches on college campus to graduating classes a workshop on how to best to prepare your C.V. and how to enhance your interviewing skills. We also discuss the roles available at Intel.
Check out a schedule of upcoming recruiting events or visit your school's career services center to find out where you can meet our recruiters.
If you have already provided your resume at an event or career fair and your skills, education, or experience are a match, we will contact you to request more information.
If you have not had the opportunity to go to a career fair, please create Your Candidate Profile now. If we find that your skills, education, or experience are a match, you will receive a request for more information from us.
If you still have questions, visit the Candidate Help Desk for more detailed information on our application and hiring process.

The interview

If you have made it through the prescreening process, we will contact you to arrange a phone interview. If your skills match our requirements, we will contact you to arrange an on-site interview. To make sure you are ready for that face-to-face visit, review our Preparing for an Interview advice.
Note: If we close a position opening that you were interested in, you will receive an email notifying you of the change in the requisition's status.

Offer

If you are successful in the interview, congratulations! Our staffing team will contact you to discuss the terms of your offer and start date. After a new employee orientation, you will meet your team and become a valuable contributor to the Intel mission.
