Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.

Medical Benefits

Intel Greece employees are covered by a comprehensive major medical insurance plan. Employees are reimbursed for up to 80 percent of eligible outpatient and hospital expenses, with an annual deductible for medical expenses.

Life, Disability and Accident Insurance

All employees at Intel Greece are covered by life, disability and accident insurance at no cost. Life insurance coverage pays two times the amount of an employee's annual salary for permanent disablement and four times the amount of an employee's annual salary for accidental death.
Business Traveler Accident Insurance
In addition to basic life insurance and basic accidental death insurance, Intel Greece provides business traveler accident coverage for all employees. Business traveler accident coverage equals five times an employees' annual salary rounded to the next higher $1,000, and subject to a $1 million (U.S.) maximum.
Business Traveler Medical Plan
Intel Greece provides medical coverage to full-time and part-time employees at no cost for occasions when they are traveling on business outside of Greece (up to a maximum of 90 days). Coverage includes medically necessary accident and sickness expenses occurring during business travel.

Paid Time Off

Vacation Time
Intel Greece employees are entitled to 24 days vacation leave each year. Employees accrue one additional day after five years of employment.
Extended Leave Program
Employees may choose to save three to seven days of vacation per year for a period of five years, or until they have been part of the program for five years. The employee then has a two-year timeframe in which to use this extended leave time.

Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to 10 percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
