Their expertise is in the creation and marketing of software development tools optimized for the Intel® XScale™ microarchitecture. These tools are used to create applications for next-generation handheld computers, personal digital assistants and cellular phones.
The engineering team in Ulm is made up of experts in compiler construction, debugger and simulator development, software testing and documentation. Market development engineers set strategy while operation systems vendors drive requirements into upcoming operating system releases. Product-marketing engineers define development-tool roadmaps. Other projects include defining tool features and distribution models, and managing third-party vendor relationships.
