Insurance
 
Business Traveler Accident Insurance
Intel provides business traveler accident coverage for all employees. The coverage commences when employees leave their residence or place of regular employment for an Intel trip and continues until they return to their residence or place of regular employment, whichever occurs first. Business traveler accident coverage equals five times an employees’ annual salary, rounded to the next higher $1,000 and subject to a up to $1,000,000 (U.S.) maximum.
Business Traveler Medical Plan
Intel provides medical coverage to full-time and part-time employees, at no cost, while they travel on business outside of Finland for a period of up to 90 days. Coverage includes medically-necessary accident and sickness expenses which occur while on a business trip. Full plan details and covered expenses are available on joining Intel and verification of travel.
 
Paid Time Off
 
Extended Leave Program
Employee have the option to bank three to seven days of vacation per year for a period of five years or until they have been part of the program for five years. The employee then has a two year timeframe within which they can they use their extended leave.
 
 
Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to five percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
