Medical Benefits
 
Intel employees in Cairo are covered by a comprehensive medical insurance plan.
 
Life and Accident Insurance
 
Intel employees in Egypt are covered by both life and accident insurance. In the case of accidental death, the policy covers up to four times an employee's annual cash compensation. In the case of permanent disability as a result of an accident, coverage is equal to three times an employee's annual cash compensation.
Disability Benefits
Permanent Health Insurance covers Intel employees in Egypt in the case of any long-term absence from work caused by illness.
Business Traveler Accident Insurance
Intel Egypt provides business traveler accident coverage for all employees. Business traveler accident coverage equals five times an employees' annual salary rounded to the next higher $1,000, and subject to a $1 million (U.S.) maximum.
Business Traveler Medical Plan
Intel Egypt provides medical coverage to full-time and part-time employees at no cost for occasions when they are traveling on business outside of Egypt (up to a maximum of 90 days). Coverage includes medically necessary accident and sickness expenses occurring during business travel. Intel Egypt also offers MEDEX International Travelers Assistance worldwide during business trips and private traveling.

Vacation Time
Intel Egypt employees are entitled to paid vacation leave of 21 days.
Extended Leave Program
Employee have the option to bank three to seven days of vacation per year for a period of five years or until they have been part of the program for five years. The employee then has a two year timeframe within which they can they use their extended leave.
 
 
Employee Cash Bonus Plan
This profit-sharing plan pays cash rewards twice a year. Through our Customer Excellence Program (CEP), employees may also receive an additional two days of pay each year on top of the ECBP payout. CEP measures customers' delight, their commitment to Intel, and the likelihood that they will do future business with us.
