Located in the heart of the Américas, Costa Rica is home to Intel’s only production site in Latin America. Our employees are focused on the assembly and testing of microprocessors and chipsets, product development, and customer support. Intel Costa Rica houses a state-of-the-art international distribution center and a strong back-office organizational function supporting several business groups including Finance, Materials, Planning, Information Technology, and Employee Services. The Finance Shared Services Center is responsible for Intel financial transactions worldwide, and the Intel IT Global Service Desk provides internal customers with exceptional technical support.
There are cafeterias, sports courts and walking trails for Intel Costa Rica employees to enjoy. It's also home to Intel's Solidarity Association of Employees (ASINTEL) that since 1998 has offered quality services and products, from life insurance to emergency assistance loans that contribute to the development of employees and their families.
