Intel is committed to the professional growth of its employees and offers a range of internal and external educational opportunities.

Internal

Intel University
Our worldwide training organization, Intel University, focuses on Intel culture, career and manager development, and new employee orientation and integration. Intel U provides worldwide administration and delivery of more than 2,400 unique instructor-led or online courses. Over 11,000 Intel employees currently volunteer as instructors, including senior management. In 2005, Intel spent an average of $3,700 per employee worldwide on training and development.

External

To encourage continued education, Intel offers reimbursement for work-related coursework, certificates, degree programs, and foreign language training to eligible employees. Courses must have either present or future job applicability within Intel and must be conducted at accredited institutions officially endorsed by the regional associations of schools and colleges.

Solidarity at Intel Costa Rica
Solidarism is a well-established collaborative movement of employers and employees in the Costa Rican work environment. Intel's Solidarity Association of Employees of Costa Rica (ASINTEL) brings important benefits to employees, particularly in the areas of education, health, and housing.
