Enjoying life in Beijing

Beijing, the capital of China and its second largest city, is the center of Chinese culture, politics, education and technology. At the heart of Beijing is Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world, and Forbidden City, an area of preserved, ancient buildings where generations of emperors and their servants lived apart from the rest of the world.
The Great Wall of China is a great stretch of Beijing with various sections for walking and exploring. Summer Palace is said to be one the most beautiful places in all of Beijing, with its painted scenes of Chinese mythology. The famous street market, Silk Alley, offers fine fashions, jewelry, antiques and more. There are also plenty more areas for excellent shopping downtown in shopping centers and unique boutiques along with museums and fine restaurants.
