Intel's benefits plans are designed to keep employees—our most important asset—healthy and productive. Our benefits are generous and personalized, in many cases letting employees choose the options that are right for themselves and their family.
 
 
 
 
Medical Benefits
 
As a supplement to the government social medical insurance, Intel China employees receive comprehensive medical benefits, both in China and while traveling. Medical benefits are also available for eligible dependents.
 
Pension Program
 
All regular, full-time employees are eligible for retirement benefits under the Government Retirement and Pension Scheme. Employees' pension benefits under this scheme follow the applicable schedule stipulated by the relevant local authorities.
 
Life and Accident Insurance
 
All Intel China employees are provided with insurance to provide coverage for their family's economic well-being at the time of their natural or accidental death or disabilities. Supplemental coverage is provided for accidental death that may occur during business travel.
 
Paid Time Off
 
Holidays
Intel China provides employees with 11 days of public holidays in accordance with government regulations.
Annual Leave
Intel China employees are entitled to a minimum of 12 days per calendar year based on length of service. The leave balance is pro-rated by actual service month for the first or last year of employment.
Other Leaves
Intel China provides a variety of paid employee leave programs to promote work/life balance. Examples include sick leave, compassionate leave (in the event of a family member's death), marriage, maternity, and paternity leaves, and leave of absence.
 
Other Benefits
 
Housing Fund
Intel provides Intel housing fund to China eligible employees as a financial aid program. Intel contributes a percentage of employee's pay to this fund. Employees may have the access to the fund after two year service for Intel.
Employee Assistance Program
Intel contracts with an independent assistance service to help employees manage life's challenges. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their eligible dependents confidential and convenient access to short-term professional counseling services at no cost to employees.
Recreation
Intel China's employee social club organizes a variety of activities for employees. Examples include table tennis, swimming, photography, dancing, movies, etc.
 
 
Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to five percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
