 Facilities and Site Services
 
Facilities and Site Services develops and manages Intel's factories and office buildings around the world. In this group, you'll support our manufacturing organizations around the world with construction support, maintenance management, and support services. What you'll do
 
Below are some examples of responsibilities that you will have working at Intel:
  • Support infrastructure (factory and office) and drive innovative solutions to facilities issues.
  • Provide engineering leadership for design, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities systems:
    • Mechanical
      Chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors
      Electrical
      Instrumentation and controls, UPS power systems
      Chemical
      Water supply, wastewater treatment, chemical distribution
  • Champion operational improvements and energy and natural resource conservation.
  • Ensure manufacturing environment remains safe and within specifications:
    • Safety and environmental engineering
      Ergonomic engineering
      Industrial hygiene and occupational health nursing
 
What you'll bring
 
We look for candidates with an MS or BS degree in one of the following areas:
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Chemical engineering
  • Industrial engineering
  • Architectural engineering
  • Electrical engineering (instrumentation and controls/power)
  • Facilities management
  • Construction/project management
  • Safety engineering
  • Human factor engineering
  • Environmental engineering
  • Biology
 
In addition, we're looking for qualified individuals with the right combination of skills and experience in:
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Project and program management
  • Safety evaluation and regulations
  • Cost estimating
  • Strategic planning
  • System integration
  • Customer service skills
  • Failure and defect analysis
