Medical and Dental Benefits
 
Medical Benefits
Intel Canada provides comprehensive medical coverage, assuring employees flexible choices and quality care. Intel and employees share the cost of employee and dependent health care coverage.
Dental Benefits
Dental coverage is provided to Intel Canada employees; Intel and employees share the cost of employee and dependent dental care coverage.
 
Life and Accident Insurance
 
To provide for their family's economic well-being, eligible Intel Canada employees are provided with Basic Life, AD&D, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance benefits at no cost. Intel also provides Business Travel Accident coverage at no cost.

Supplemental Employee Life and AD&D coverage as well as Dependent Life, is available to eligible employees at group rates.
 
Retirement
 
Intel Canada offers employees both a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP) and Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), designed to work together, to provide long term security for employees.
 
Paid Time Off
 
Holidays
Intel Canada employees will receive eight hours of holiday pay for each statutory holiday, at least nine paid holidays each year.
Vacation Time
Exempt Intel Canada employees receive three weeks of paid vacation per year for their first ten years of service. After ten years of service, exempt employees receive four weeks of vacation per year.

Non-exempt Intel Canada employees accrue 6.7 hours per month for their first five years of service. After five years of service, non-exempt employees earn additional vacation time at the rate of one day per year (up to five additional days).
Personal Absence/Sick Time
While there is no accrual of sick leave for exempt employees, salary will be continued with "Topping Up" pay up to 90 days in a rolling 12 months in coordination with disability insurance. Non-exempt employees accrue 6.7 hours per month of personal absence/sick time which can also be used in coordination with disability insurance.
Sabbatical Leave
Intel provides an 8-week sabbatical, with full salary, after each seven years of full-time service.
Leaves of Absences
Intel provides Maternity Leaves with salary coordination for the first six to eight weeks following birth. Personal and Parental Leaves of Absence are also available.
 
Other Benefits
 
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their eligible dependents confidential and convenient access to short-term professional counseling services at no cost.
Smoking Cessation
Intel Canada reimburses employees for products related to smoking cessation.
 
 
Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to 10 percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
