Medical and Dental Benefits
 
Intel Australia employees receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care benefits both at home and while traveling.
 
Pension Program
 
Intel Australia provides employees with a pension plan in accordance with government regulations. Intel's contribution in 2005 was nine percent of each employee's eligible earnings; employee contributions are voluntary.
 
Life and Accident Insurance
 
All Intel Australia employees are provided with life insurance coverage to provide for their family's economic well-being at the time of their natural or accidental death. Supplemental coverage is provided for accidental death that may occur while on business travel. Disability benefits are also provided.

Holidays
Australia observes public holidays as gazetted by respective states in the country.
Annual Leave
Intel Australia employees are entitled to 20 days vacation leave to allow them time to pursue recreational interests and enhance family/personal life.
Leave of Absence
Intel Australia provides eligible employees with a variety of additional paid and unpaid employee leave programs. Examples include sick and hospitalization leave; compassionate (bereavement) leave; maternity, paternity, parental, and family leaves; marriage leave; and study/examination leave.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their eligible dependents confidential and convenient access to short-term professional counseling services at no cost.
 
 
Stock Purchase Plan
The Stock Purchase Plan allows employees to purchase Intel stock at a discount through payroll deductions, from two to five percent of eligible pay. Stock is purchased at 85 percent of Intel's stock price at the lower of the beginning or ending of a subscription period. Employees use the plan for short-term savings goals or long-term investment needs.
