The primary responsibilities for Intel's sales and marketing team in the Philippines include:
  • Delivering innovative products to consumer and OEM markets
  • Driving Intel's initiatives, technologies, products and services into the marketplace
  • Creating demand for Intel's products
  • Driving the market to recognize Intel's role in the Internet at the OEM, developer, and end-user levels

In addition to the sales and support staff, Intel Manila is also home to Intel Asia Pacific Customer Support (ICS). ICS is the sole source of technical support for all of Intel's products with resources, support centers and support programs throughout the Asia Pacific region. The Manila site has a gym, cafeteria, an ATM machine and nearby stores. There are also sports courts, laundry and dry cleaning services and even organized clubs such as the Intel Choral Group.

Enjoying life in Manila

Manila has many popular attractions. Excellent food and warm hospitality are common, and English is widely spoken. The Ayala Center, right in the heart of bustling Makati, is a sophisticated commercial complex comparable to those in many of the world's leading cities. Ayala Center has elegant hotels and restaurants, as well as some of the country's leading boutiques, clothing stores, restaurants/cafes, supermarkets, bookstores and lifestyle stores. Neighboring malls include The Landmark, Glorietta and Greenbelt.
One of the most beautiful landmarks in Manila is the Guadalupe Ruins on Bernardino Street Guadalupe Viejo, Makati. Here you can see Doric architecture with massive buttresses supporting its vault of hewn stones taken from the still-visible but extinct Guadalupe quarry. The Ayala Museum in Greenbelt, Makati offers a unique showcase of the Philippines' history and culture, including 60 dioramas (or scenic representations) of a half-million years of Philippine cultural history.
The 7,101 islands of the Philippines are situated on the crossroads of Asia, at the eastern rim of the China Sea. This nation has a wealth of natural resources, a rich history and a unique culture in which 111 different Filipino dialects exist. Filipinos, the native people, have a sprinkling of Chinese, American, Spanish and Arab cultures. This makes them truly a unique blend of East and West. The Philippines are known for numerous islands both big and small, as well as mountains, forests and beaches that include deep waters and varied marine life.
