Intel Mexico is the home for Guadalajara Design Center (GDC), located in what is becoming Mexico’s Silicon Valley. GDC focuses on designing optical system solution demonstrators, supporting optical silicon products and developing high-speed testing toolsets for facilitating Intel lab work. Intel Mexico also has a sales and marketing office located in Mexico City, which provides world-class support for all of Mexico at the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), developer and end-user levels.
Intel Mexico fosters academic relationships and networks with the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in research laboratories applied to e-Commerce in Mexico City, Monterrey and the Mexico State. Intel Mexico has strong relationships with federal and local government in support of the country's primary and secondary education, and the creation of a more scientific culture.
