Buenos Aires

Intel Argentina has offices in two exciting locations: Buenos Aires and Córdoba. The Buenos Aires office serves as a sales, marketing and support center for all of Argentina and the rest of the Southern Cone, including Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. This office works with local PC manufacturers, distribution partners and the software industry, providing world-class sales and support at the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), developer and end-user levels. The Buenos Aires office is located in the beautiful Puerto Madero area, a traditional port where old warehouses were refurbished into first-rate restaurants, lofts and offices with amazing views of the city and the beautiful River Plate.

Córdoba is home to the Argentina Software Development Center (ASDC), which develops software solutions for the domestic and global markets. The center focuses on developing infrastructure software for supporting Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based applications including XML processing, web services protocols and web services security. The center anticipates growing to more than 400 engineers by 2011. The ASDC is conveniently located near Córdoba’s top universities.

The Intel® Education Initiative, Intel’s worldwide program aimed to create awareness that education is critical to each citizen’s ability to thrive into the global knowledge economy, is also supported by Intel Argentina. The Intel® Teach Program, Intel® Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), Intel® Learn as well as a joint fund with the Province of Cordoba Government for higher education research and information technology (IT) related careers are some of the education programs deployed in Argentina.
