BACK TO SCHOOL FOR INTEL VOLUNTEERS
August 25, 2006

Last week, Intel volunteers helped Scoil Bhride, Leixlip by painting three classrooms. The pressure was on the volunteers to complete the classrooms before the children returned to school in September.
The 14 volunteers were all from one department, Manufacturing Engineering, and they used the opportunity as a team building activity and an opportunity to help out the school. Intel Involved volunteers have completed six different painting projects in other local schools over the summer months, including the St Mary’s Boys N.S., Maynooth and Scoil Eoin Phoil, Leixlip.
Annette Carty Mole organised the project on behalf of her department, “Everyone really enjoyed the activity and we would definitely be signing up for more projects in the near future, we all had great fun painting and it was great to be able to help a local school!”
Intel Involved is the worldwide volunteer programme in Intel which started in Leixlip in 1996. They are always on the look out for projects for our volunteers. If you have a project that you think Intel Involved could help with, please contact Bronagh Friel on 0160 64089.
