- In Chapter 11, on page 165—the upper-right box in Figure 11.8 should be "FIS Type (5Fh)", instead of "FIS Type (5h)."
- In Chapter 18, on pages 297 and 298—all single- and double-sided arrows in the equations should be times symbols ("X"). Also, all large open brackets ("<") should be multiplication symbols (represented by a dot).
- In Chapter 18, on page 297—in the third equation, the second term of the equation "(81920 - 3)" should be superscripted to indicate a power of the first term "(1 - err)."
