Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) is a major component of the Intel® vPro™ platform that differentiates this platform from other platforms. In this article, we look closely at the details of the capabilities that Intel AMT provides, as well as at different end-user solutions that are built using the Intel AMT capabilities. However, before we examine the functional capabilities of Intel AMT, we will briefly look at the key characteristics that make it different from traditional management based on OS agents.
