Intel ISO 14001:2004 Registration

Intel maintains a company-wide certification to the internationally recognized ISO 14001:2004 standard to ensure Intel manufacturing sites maintain a comprehensive environmental management system that clearly defines and tracks global performance to environmental goals and initiatives. All Intel Wafer Fabrication and Assembly Test sites that manufacture commercial product are registered to the ISO 14001:2004 standard by a third-party registrar under a multi-site registration.

As Intel continues to expand manufacturing operations into new global markets we are committed to our copy exactly philosophy for implementing world class environmental programs and certifying new manufacturing sites to the ISO 14001:2004 standard. Intel has maintained a multi-site ISO14001:2004 certification for all manufacturing locations since 2001 and will continue to demonstrate its internationally recognized commitment to worldwide environmental excellence by completing independent third-party audits at various sites each year.

New sites implement an ISO 14001:2004 based environmental management system at their start up and are registered as soon as enough time has passed to gather historical data. Sites must demonstrate that their environmental management system has been in use for a minimum of 6 months prior to registration.
