Intel has a long history of working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on a range of environmental initiatives.
Climate Leaders
Intel works with the EPA's Climate Leaders program to develop strategies for reducing overall climate change. Intel is developing technologies that manage component power use, improve performance and efficiency, and decrease footprint and power demands.
ENERGY STAR*
In addition to working with the EPA to develop the latest ENERGY STAR computer specifications, we also helped author a new design guide to help manufacturers deliver new ENERGY STAR-compliant systems.
National Environment Performance Track
Intel earned the EPA's elite National Environment Performance Track membership for three Intel sites.
Best Workplaces for Commuters designation
The EPA named Intel as the Best Workplace for Commuters of Fortune 500 companies three years in a row.
