Best Corporate Citizens list

In February 2008, Intel was named to the top of the Best Corporate Citizens list, technology sector, by Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine. The list identifies companies that best combine business objectives with responsible practices across eight categories: environment, climate change, human rights, employee relations, corporate governance, lobbying, philanthropy, and financial performance.

Dow Jones Technology Supersector Leader in Sustainability

For seven consecutive years, Dow Jones has recognized Intel as a Supersector Leader in Sustainability (PDF 124KB) for our sustainability leadership position within the technology sector.

Global 100 Award

In January 2008, Intel was named the list of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations (PDF 68KB) for the fourth year in a row.

Dave Stangis: One of 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics

Dave Stangis, Intel's Director of Corporate Responsibility, was named one of 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere magazine. One of the green initiatives Dave led in 2007 was to create an environmentally friendly microprocessor. Stangis regularly posts to Intel's Corporate Responsibility blog.

Foreign Policy Association CSR Award

Intel received the Foreign Policy Association (FPA) Corporate Social Responsibility Award for our continuing commitment to education, community development, and sustainable environmental practices.

U.S. EPA Water Efficiency Leader (WEL) Award

Intel was awarded the U.S. EPA 2007 Water Efficiency Leader (WEL) award for our efforts in reducing, reusing and recycling water at our facilities in Arizona.

China Association of Corporate Citizenship

Intel received the China Outstanding Corporate Citizen award for the third year in a row for our commitment to corporate social responsibility in China.
