The Intel® Reader is designed to offer the freedom of mobility, with unmatched versatility and ease of use.
The Intel Reader is easy to use. Just point, shoot, and listen to quickly access printed text such as schoolwork, work material, or menus on the spot. The Intel Reader does not require sight to operate. Easy-to-locate buttons, audio and visual navigation, and straightforward menus make it easy to locate the functions you need. For people with low vision, the large screen display can zoom in and out and text size can easily be adjusted.
Now it’s possible to read printed materials virtually anytime, anywhere. Weighing just over a pound and about the size of a paperback book, the Intel Reader is easy to take along and use at work, school, home, or on the road. And earphones allow you to listen privately, clearly, and discreetly, without disturbing others.
With the Intel Reader, you can capture a wide variety of printed content and manage it within a convenient and compact device. And you’re not limited to only prerecorded or digital content. Simply point, shoot, and listen on the spot, or use the Intel Reader with the Intel® Portable Capture Station to scan, convert, and store multiple pages from a book or magazine for listening later. The Intel Reader will play most content, including MP3s, DAISY* books, and even text files transferred from a computer, and it has built-in features to help manage content.
