Teachers professional development
The Intel® Teach Programme
The objective of the programme is to improve teacher effectiveness through professional development, helping teachers integrate technology into their lessons and promoting students' problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Intel Teach is the largest, most successful program of its kind with more than 10 million teachers trained worldwide and 1.3 million in Europe.

Raising interest in science, engineering and maths
We encourage young people to pursue advanced education and careers in math, science, and engineering by sponsoring competitions and collaborating with government officials and educators to inspire a path to innovation.
Our initiatives in Europe:
The Intel® International Science and Engineering Fair
The Intel® International Science and Engineering Fair® (Intel ISEF), the world's largest international pre-college science competition, provides an annual forum for more than 1,500 high school students from 65 countries, regions, and territories to showcase their independent research as they compete for over $4 million annually. The Intel ISEF is the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12.
On the European level Intel and Society for Science and the Public cooperate with over 15 country science fairs and the number is constantly growing every year. Students who participate in these fairs get compete to go to the world finals held annually in the USA. To see if your national fair is affiliated to Intel ISEF, please follow this link.

The Intel Educator Academy
The Intel Educator Academy brings together select government officials and educators from around the world to improve science education and the quality of science fair projects.
The Sci-preneurship
Sci-preneurship is a 24 hours long competition for Intel ISEF and Junior Achievement - Young Enterprise alumni, during which students come up with an innovative and commercially viable solution to an existing social problem. Contest's aim is to put ‘innovation and creativity’ with the specific focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the spotlight through a partnership between Intel and JA-YE Europe.

Developing entrepreneurship
We partner with educators and governments to encourage the development of entrepreneurial teaching, culture, and learning worldwide through curriculum, training, workshops, and leadership seminars.
Our programmes in Europe:
The Intel Business Challenge Europe
The Intel® Challenge Europe is a regional business plan competition for university students organized in collaboration with prestigious education institutions and entrepreneurship organizations across Europe.
Winners of Intel® Business Challenge Europe (and other regional competitions) go to the World Intel Global Challenge finals held at Berkeley in November 2012.
The Sci-preneurship

Contest's aim is to put ‘innovation and creativity’ with the specific focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the spotlight through a partnership between Intel and JA-YE Europe.
The Social Enterprise Programme
Intel in partnership with Junior Achievements Young Enterprise Europe bring the worlds of education, training, skills, work and community closer together to inspire and recognize young social entrepreneurs through the Social Enterprise Programme. It's aim is to increase the pool of potential social entrepreneurs by providing access to education in social enterprise to young people age 15-18 across Europe.
European Innovation and Creativity Challenge
European Creativity & Innovation Challenge aims to put ‘innovation and creativity’ in the spotlight through a partnership between 15 organisations from 13 European countries. The network proposes to organise a Creativity and Innovation Challenge for vocational school students in selected countries which will encourage young people to use their skills in enterprising ways, ultimately increasing their employability and entrepreneurial flair.
The Social Entrepreneurship Curriculum
Intel Corp., Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship set up a cooperation for the development and implementation of Social Entrepreneurship teaching material in high schools. Social Entrepreneurship facilitates innovative and pragmatic solutions, without being dependent on external financial support. Development and integration of teaching materials on Social Entrepreneurship as a one solution for tackling relevant challenges of society in the 21st century.
Intel® Learn Technology and Entrepreneurship
Intel® Learn Technology and Entrepreneurship in France introduces learners to the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and demonstrates how technology can be used to advance a business idea. Using Internet tools and office applications, learners research and formulate a business idea. Then they create and present a business plan for that idea through the JA-YE Company Programme.
