Henna Fält
Henna was the Sound Engineer during the World's Biggest Intel Chime attempt. She has worked at Intel for two years as an operations research engineer.
You probably had the most important job on the day. How did you prepare?
You're right. If anything was wrong with the equipment we wouldn't have been able to capture the sound properly. I checked everything about twenty times! I also worked closely with Pekka and Helgi to make sure the guys hit the tubes at the right angle. If they didn't then they would have made the wrong noise.
And it was pitch-perfect?
Absolutely. D-flat, D-flat, G-flat, D-flat, A-flat. We built a beautiful instrument.
Does everyone in Intel think you're all a little bit crazy for trying this?
Probably. Yes, definitely. But we're a forward-thinking company here. We like to try things that haven't been tried before. We want to show people that we're always pushing the boundaries.
