Intel Retiree Organization:

Intel Retirees from Oregon and Washington formed a Retiree Group in 2001. We worked with Intel and Volunteers of America to form the Intel Retiree Organization including both a Board of Directors and bylaws that have been approved by Intel. After meeting with Retiree groups in Santa Clara and Chandler during RUMs (Retirement Update Meetings) in Q2 '06, we have decided that it is beneficial for all Intel US Retirees to come together as a single organization. This will enable us to work together with Intel on issues that are of a concern to all Retirees. We have expanded our Board of Directors to include representation from Santa Clara, Folsom, Chandler, and New Mexico. Intel Retirees, who are members of the Intel Retiree Organization, developed a website for Retirees that is managed by Retirees that includes social activities, a calendar, volunteering opportunities, articles written by Retirees and our newsletters. To access the website go to Life After Intel.
