and adapt new technologies for the classroom. Learn about technologies
including weblogs, handheld computers, and other innovative tools. Explore how
these technologies can be used in education to increase student learning.
Emerging technology refers to cutting-edge technologies which are not usually
developed with education in mind. Learn how to identify these technologies and
adapt them for use in education.
In this workshop, you will also gain experience using an emerging technology.
You will use a weblog to record activities, events, and strategies gleaned from
the workshop.
