Overview
The Intel Student Research Contest Program (ISRC) has been
developed to inspire and support students engaging in research in the sciences
and engineering disciplines. The research focus is based on Intel Research
goals and is implemented independently worldwide to reflect local university
and Intel strengths.
Program duration can be several months or in some cases over
a year. The ISRC program is an organized "contest" that supports designated
student's research projects conducted at their school. Students work with their
college or university professor, and consult with designated Intel researchers
on their project. At the end of the research period, the students travel to
Intel to present their results before a panel of experts and meet with senior
Intel researchers.
Intel continues to reward and encourage our future scientists
and engineers, as they are long-term investments in our future. ISRC offers a
unique opportunity to increase interaction between researchers at Intel and
researchers in academia. We value this opportunity to work with the rising
stars in academic research.
Contests are currently in place India, People's Republic of
China, Mexico and Taiwan. More contests are in development worldwide and will
be added in the future. Please use the links on the right for more information
on the individual contests.
