People's Republic of China Student Research Contests

The Intel® Higher Education Program of China sponsors two undergraduate student contests.

The first, the Intel Student Research Contest (ISRC), focuses on encouraging students in engineering and computer science to engage in broad research in areas matching Intel's own research focuses. The ISRC grants awards to students for research projects conducted at their school.

The second contest is tightly focused on embedded systems design. This contest, the "Intel Cup" National Undergraduate Embedded System Electronic Design Contest, is jointly hosted by the Intel® Higher Education Program, the Higher Education Department of China's Ministry of Education, and the Personnel Department of China's Ministry of Information Industry.

In late 2004, Intel announced the winners of both contests. Future contests are currently under development and will be posted in 2005.
