Intel® Remote Management Module 2

Streamline server administration by adding the Intel® Remote Management Module 2 (Intel® RMM2) accessory. Intel RMM2 removes time and distance barriers by giving you a virtual IT presence. Now you can securely gain access and control of servers and other devices from any machine on the network—any place, any time.

Take control

Intel RMM2 saves time at every stage of the server lifecycle by allowing remote completion of tasks—from initial server setup to on-going system monitoring to server recovery and maintenance. With USB media redirection, IT staff can load operating systems and other software on remote machines from storage devices attached to their local machine.

Intel RMM2 reduces server downtime by allowing administrators to proactively monitor system health and recognize emerging trends. Troubleshooting and repair can be performed from one console—no more getting stuck across town when a problem occurs and fighting traffic to restart a system.

What is it?

Intel RMM2 is an add-on hardware-based module available for selected Intel® Server Products. It is an optional upgrade that includes a remote management card and GCM3 module connector for a dedicated network connection and adds extensive remote management capabilities.
