Intel NetStructure® ZT 4901

ZT 4901 This 6U, single-slot mezzanine card is designed to work with the Intel NetStructure® ZT 5524 High-Performance System Master Processor Board. The ZT 4901 card attaches to the ZT 5524 board and interfaces to the system backplane via a standard CompactPCI* slot. It enhances the capabilities of the ZT 5524 board by providing two PMC sites, a dual optical Fibre Channel interface, and CompactPCI bridging at 33 or 66 MHz. The use of two ZT 4901 cards, along with two ZT 5524 boards, enables redundant host processor operation in the Intel NetStructure® ZT 5085 12U Redundant Host Packet Switched Platform.

Form Factor: 6U x 4HP (1-slot). Pairs with the ZT 5524 High-performance Processor Board to form a two-board complex that occupies two slots.
Dual PMC Sites: Two 64-bit 66 MHz PCI mezzanine card slots for mezzanine expansion modules that conform to the IEEE 1386.1 standard.
Dual Fibre Channel: Dual 2Gb Fibre Channel interface available at the front panel and the J5 rear-panel I/O connector. Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) connectors are provided at the front panel to support either optical or copper Storage Area Network (SAN) implementations.
CompactPCI* Bridging: The ZT 4901 card, when attached to a ZT 5524 processor board, can operate as a CompactPCI system master. This allows the ZT 5524 host processor board to master a second 33 or 66 MHz CompactPCI bus segment. Or when isolated from the CompactPCI bus it can operate in drone mode when installed in a peripheral slot.
Redundant Host Processor: Two ZT 4901 cards support redundant host processor operation when joined with two ZT 5524 boards in a ZT 5085 platform.
IPMI Management: On-board health monitoring via private I2C BMC interface on the ZT 5524 host board.
Compatibility: Compatible with PICMG* 2.0 R3, 2.16, and 2.9 specifications.
