This Application Note provides guidelines for system designs that are based on the Intel® 82562G family of Platform LAN Connect (PLC) devices and use an I/O Control Hub (ICHx) that supports the PLC interface. In these designs, a device from the 82562G family is used in place of a device from the 82562E family of PLC devices.
