Product Certification Markings (Board Level)

The following tables describe the board's certification markings.

Component Side Markings
Certification Mark Description
UL joint US/Canada Recognized Component mark
Consists of lower case c followed by a stylized backward UR and followed by a small US.
Includes the adjacent UL file number for Intel Desktop Boards: E210882.
FCC Declaration of Conformity logo mark for Class B equipment Includes the Intel name and D945PVS model designation.
CE mark
Declares compliance to the European Union (EU) EMC directive (89/336/EEC) and Low Voltage directive (73/23/EEC).
Should also be on the shipping container.
Australian Communications Authority (ACA) C-Tick mark
Consists of a stylized C overlaid with a check (tick) mark, followed by an Intel supplier code number, N-232.
Should also be on the shipping container.
S. Korea MIC (Ministry of Information and Communication) mark

Solder Side Markings
Certification Mark Description
Printed wiring board manufacturer's recognition mark Consists of a unique UL recognized manufacturer's logo, along with a flammability rating (V-0 or 94V-0).
Lead - Free Certification
Pb-free certification markings are per the JEDEC spec.
Pb-free symbol - PB_FREE_SILK
e1 symbol (specifies the compositiion of the solder paste) - E1_SILK
2ND Level Interconnect (used until a board is considered Pb-free per the RoHS definition - This must follow the Pb-free symbol. It is abbreviated per spec) - 2ND_LVL_INTCT_SILK
260 °C (specifies maximum safe processing temperature) - 260C_SILK
