Flexibility and scalability of this development kit are exceptional. In addition to support for DDR SDRAM at 400, 333, or 266 MHz, the Processor System Bus (PSB) supports 800, 533, 400 MHz. As a result, the Intel® Pentium® 4 processor, Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology¹, and related Intel® Celeron® processors can be readily interchanged. Likewise, the proper selection of processor and memory technology can be easily prototyped to evaluate different performance envelopes.
Advanced capabilities, such as PCI-X, SATA, Intel® Communications Streaming Architecture (CSA) and Intel® Performance Acceleration Technology (Intel® PAT) can also be evaluated with this development kit.
