Overview
========
The Intel(r) Chipset Platform Configuration Utility works with Microsoft Windows* XP operating system and on the following Intel(r) Chipset based platforms:

- 875P
- 865G
- 865PE
- 865P

NOTE: These platforms support dual channel memory. If your system is not dual channel capable, this utility will not provide valid recommendations. 

This utility is intended to provide: 

- General system level information about the processor and chipset configuration
- Recommendations for memory optimization
- Suggested memory upgrades

The utility will analyze your system to determine the best optimization and upgrade suggestions. 

NOTE:  It is important to always reference your motherboard documentation when using the chipset platform configuration utility. 

Motherboard information required to use this tool: 

- Number of system DIMM slots


Installation Overview

Double click the PCU.EXE file and follow the installation instructions.
