Zarlink front-end products receive the digital signal and extract the video and audio streams. These tuners, demodulators and reference designs complement Intel's comprehensive family of consumer electronics platform solutions.

Tuners and Reference Designs
Zarlink tuners include broadband tuners and down-converters for digital satellite, cable and terrestrial set top boxes and televisions. Zarlink tuner integrated circuits support industry standards including: DVB-S1, DVB-S2, DVB-C, DVB-T, DSS, Open Cable, ISDB-T, ATSC, P&P, DAB.
