Introduction

Healthcare resources are constantly on the move but the information for high quality patient care is not so easily available. Mobile Point of Care Solutions provide immediate information at the place of care or decision making. Based on Intel's Team of Ethnographers Studies several usage models were identified for Mobile Point of Care which included the need for a walk around mobile platform which resulted in the design of the Intel mobile clinical assistant reference platform, further a wheel around platform for computers on wheels (COWS) for dispensing as an example, the ward to "office and dock" for clinicians requiring a key board.
