Get insights from 200 IT managers on cloud computing and using intelligent clients in a cloud environment. This report provides benchmarking data you can use for your own client computing initiatives, such as current perspectives on private, hybrid, and public cloud models, and why many IT managers still have concerns about moving to the public cloud. The findings also reveal and rank concerns about cloud computing issues related to security, performance, manageability, and user experience—and discuss how using intelligent clients can help resolve these issues. Not surprisingly, a key finding in this research is that security in a cloud environment remains top of mind for IT managers across the board. In addition, there is data on the appeal of a client-aware cloud, which leverages cloud attributes (device, location, connectivity, and flexibility) together with client capabilities (performance, device security, and user experience) to deliver the best of both worlds.
