Benchmark description

Using POV-Ray Standard Benchmark to render a sample picture of 262144 pixels using all CPUs. PPS (Pixels Per Second) measurement calculated by dividing 262144 by the rendering times in seconds.

The POV-Ray package includes detailed instructions on using the ray-tracer and creating scenes. Many stunning scenes are included with POV-Ray so users can start creating images immediately when they get the package. These scenes can be modified so users do not have to start from scratch. In addition to the pre-defined scenes, a large library of pre-defined shapes and materials is provided.
