On October 30, Levi's and Intel launched their exciting collaboration, "Friends of MOCA." Hundreds of Los Angeles' art lovers packed the Geffen Contemporary at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) underneath a warm California sky to celebrate and support innovate efforts in art and technology education. It was beautiful night, capped off by remarks by Jeffrey Deitch, the director of The Museum of Contemporary Art.
In the latest chapter of the Levi's and Intel "Friends of..." initiative, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles has enlisted actor Gael García Bernal, artist Xu Bing, artist Mariko Mori, and musician Santigold to create a limited edition T-shirt series that uses digital resources and Ultrabook™ technology to benefit MOCA's innovative skill sharing programs. The sale of these shirts will benefit Contemporary Art Start, MOCA's innovative educational program. (click here for a list of stores).
