The Intel® Higher Education Program in the Asia Pacific Region collaborates with universities, industry, and governments to empower students, support professors, and accelerate innovation. The Intel Higher Education effort focuses on developing education and training programs to enhance the technical know-how of university students across Asia.
Intel collaborates with governments and universities to develop and implement science and engineering curriculums. We help ensure that graduates are trained with the latest skills required to be successful in the technology and engineering fields.
Intel works with engineering institutions in Asia Pacific to encourage research and enable the advancement of technology through academic forums, collaborative research, and research grants.
Opportunities for Students and Faculty
Through alliances, forums, and educational opportunities, Intel helps modernize university engineering education. We bring students, professors, and technical experts together to fuse industry knowledge with academia and help prepare students for the engineering marketplace.
Intel’s commitment to innovation includes sponsorship of the Intel® Global Challenge at UC Berkeley that promotes innovations that make the world a better place. Engineers and scientists from around the world present their innovations and business plans that solve problems and generate long-term value. In 2012, entrepreneurs from Asia won two of the top prizes.
