Preparing the Critical Thinkers of Tomorrow

A foundation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fosters curiosity, instills critical thinking skills, and prepares students for 21st century jobs. Intel has been investing in the development of its global STEM initiatives for many years, investing over $1 billion in the last decade.

In the Asia Pacific Region, Intel strives to prepare the next generation of innovators through STEM curriculum development, recognition of student research, and professional development workshops for educators and policymakers.

Student Research

Recognizing outstanding research and providing outlets for scientific exploration have been cornerstones of Intel’s STEM education efforts. Students from countries throughout the Asia Pacific Region have competed in local, national, and regional fairs to become finalists at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), the world’s largest pre-college science research competition.
