Xu Bing and Icons of Narrative

The Ultrabook™ Experience visits visual artist Xu Bing in Beijing to learn about his calligraphy and icon-inspired art work. Xu Bing is one of four extraordinary "Friends of MOCA," a unique partnership between Intel and Levi's.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Levi's and Intel asked each friend to create original artwork inspired by MOCA's dedication to the advancement of creative learning through technology. The resulting designs are as varied as the artists themselves—humorous, political, personal, and spiritual. Xu Bing's artwork takes the universal communicative power of icons to tell stories.
