The stunning Espaço MAM at Rio de Janeiro's Museum of Modern Art buzzed last night as Intel and Levi's launched "Friends of Vik Muniz for Spectaculu," a skill-sharing program that brings leaders in design and the visual arts to Spectaculu, an arts and technology school that serves Rio's underprivileged youth.
At Espaço MAM, Spectaculu students demonstrated the skills they learned from a design course that was brought to the school through the Intel and Levi's partnership. Graphic designs were created using Intel-inspired Ultrabooks™ and screen printed onto T-shirts and posters. The night's soundtrack was provided by The Twelves and two students from Spectaculu. It was an amazing night and a vibrant celebration of skill sharing and the connection between visual arts and technology. There will be more to come from "Friends of Vik Muniz for Spectaculu," including How-to videos.
Check below for pictures from the night's festivities.
