The lights dimmed at the last of three international premieres of Intel and W Hotels' short film series, Four Stories, a global platform showcasing the talents of up-and-coming filmmakers. Nearly 1,000 people from all over the world submitted short film scripts set inside iconic W Hotels destinations and featuring an Intel-inspired Ultrabook™ as a central character. Four scripts were chosen and matched up with young, talented directors by Roman Coppola and his production company, The Directors Bureau.
After the screening of the film, Naomi Scott, the beautiful star of director Lee Toland Krieger's Modern/Love (set at W Doha), along with George Fleck, global brand director of W Hotels, Jayant Murty, Intel's Asia Pacific director of brand strategy, and Doze Niu, a top Taiwanese director, held a Q&A with audience members. Doze Niu was especially pleased with the films he saw, telling the audience, "I am really happy to see such a project like Four Stories allow people to spread their creativity. As a film director, I am always looking for what's new and what's next. Not only am I very much looking forward to see more about Four Stories, I would also love to participate in it. Congratulations to Intel and W Hotels for such an inspirational project."
