Andrew WK Rocks ELECTRIFIED

It's amazing how energized David Blaine was 48 hours into ELECTRIFIED. He's a fantastic endurance artist for sure, but it seemed like he was also drawing energy from the thousands of people who came out to see him at Pier 54, and who interacted with the Tesla coils that surrounded him through Intel-inspired Ultrabooks™ from around the world.

On a rain-soaked Sunday, when the limits of endurance were being tested most severely, Andrew WK's performance brought the energy on the pier and around the world to a whole new level. Watch Andrew WK playing the Tesla Coils, an experience he described as "the party-est thing I've ever done!"

Wearing his signature white T-shirt and jeans, the long-haired keyboardist rocked arpeggios and played his signature hit, "Party Hard." For an encore, he did a frenetic version of "Freebird." Of course, the Tesla coils let loose their dancing bolts of lightning to the music.
